According to Chinese philosophy, chi (vital energy) flows through twelve primary channels of the body called meridians. Sometimes the meridians can get blocked or become imbalanced with either an excess or deficiency of chi. Meridian yoga uses both yin (still) and yang (active) yoga poses to balance the flow of chi throughout the body for optimal physical, mental, and emotional health. Each session of this workshop will focus on three meridians so that the entire series will cover all twelve.
