This workshop will explore the relationship of quantum physics to yoga and meditation. We will look specifically at the observer effect, which states that where you direct your attention is where you place your energy.
What happens in a yoga pose when you direct your attention to one specific part of the body? How does this attention affect your posture, your breath, and the ease of the pose?
According to quantum physics, we can compress time and draw specific results to us, because these results already exist as possibilities in the unified field. Quantum physics holds that we can change our destiny by learning how to experience our future now.
The great yoga teacher, Krishnamacharya said, “What was once impossible, becomes possible over time with practice.”
In this workshop you will learn how to use pranayama and meditation to create a new destiny for yourself and for the world.

Sarla started practicing yoga in 1985. She studied with Felicity Green, Rodney Yee, John Friend, Shiva Rea, Cyndi Lee and Rod Stryker among others. She began her teaching career in 1995. In 2001, at the urging of her good friend Cyndi Lee, she opened Midtown Yoga, which she owned and operated until 2012. In that time she taught hundreds of students and certified at least 150 teachers many of whom are teaching in the Memphis area today. Sarla believes that our thoughts create our reality and that we have within us the power to change the course of history. When asked what she is working on now, she responds, “I am creating a new future, one in which there is peace and cooperation among all peoples. You can help.”
