The Five Animal Sports/Frolics is one of the most ancient and popular sets of health-promoting qigong exercises. Passed down for nearly 2,000 years, it is an effective, fun, and sometimes humorous way to energize the entire body. By imitating the movements and spirit of the Tiger, Deer, Bear, Ape and Bird, practitioners build strength, flexibility and balance. Participants will also be introduced to the correspondence between five internal organs, five phases and healing sounds.
April 27 - 1st and 2nd movement for each animal;
May 25 - 3rd and 4th movement for each animal;
June 22 - 5th movement for each animal, correspondence between five internal organs, five phases and healing sounds;
July 27 - Putting theory and practice together with the complete 25 movement set.
